Simple Whiteboard – Freeboard (Japanese name シンプルホワイトボード フリーボード, package com.toshiikuo.simplewhiteboard) is an Android drawing app provided by toshiikuo. This policy explains how information is handled in the app.
Drawings and local storage
Your strokes, colors, grid settings, viewing position and zoom are stored on your device. The app does not send your drawings to the developer or advertising services. Exported PNGs are written to the location you choose. Sharing passes an image to the app you select, whose own privacy policy applies. Depending on your device and Android settings, app data may be included in operating-system backups and device transfers.
Advertising and choices
The app uses Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google’s advertising SDK collects and shares IP addresses, identifiers such as the advertising ID, app/ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. IP addresses may indicate approximate location. SDK data is encrypted in transit. The app does not request location permission.
Where applicable, the app presents consent or US state privacy choices. Use “Ad privacy settings” in the app menu to revisit available choices, withdraw consent or opt out. Your choices and region may result in personalized, non-personalized, limited, or no ads. Android may also provide controls to reset or delete your advertising ID. See the Google Privacy Policy, Google advertising information, and policies of partners identified in the consent form for their practices, retention and international processing.
Retention, deletion and contact
Use Clear all to remove drawings. Undo may temporarily restore a cleared drawing while the app remains open. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local app data. Delete exported images, shared copies and backups separately through their storage or service provider. If you email the developer, your email address and message are used for as long as needed to respond. Contact toshiikuo@gmail.com for privacy questions and deletion requests.
Audience and updates
The app is intended for adults taking notes, organizing ideas and making drawings. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent and opting out of sale or sharing, among others. For information handled by Google or its partners, their own privacy contact channels are also available. Policy changes will be posted here with an updated date.
